The Programme
Three tracks. One standard. A membership that builds with you through university.
Not a short course.
A long-term investment.
The Alexandria Initiative is not a short course. There is no graduation certificate at the end of a few weeks. You join, you develop, you contribute, and you stay.
Membership works through a structured progression framework. Members move through foundation, advanced, and capstone phases, each building on the last. Within each phase, you complete curriculum modules, work on applied projects, and contribute to club activities at your campus.
The structure is designed so that the longer you are in, the more you produce, the more connected you become, and the more valuable your membership is.
Three phases. Continuous development.
Foundation
The starting point for every member. Covers the core frameworks, tools, and habits of professional consulting work.
Advanced
Deeper analytical and applied work. Members take on more complex assignments and develop their own areas of strength.
Capstone
Senior membership. Capstone members work on substantive applied projects and contribute to mentoring junior members.
Consulting Club
The Consulting Club is Alexandria Initiative's foundation track, and the entry point for all members during the pilot.
What you will develop
Curriculum covers structured problem decomposition, quantitative analysis, hypothesis-driven thinking, and client-facing skills. The goal is members who can hold their own in any consulting or strategy environment.
What it looks like
Members attend structured sessions, complete modules, and take part in cross-country events. The workload is meaningful but designed to be carried alongside a full university programme.
Innovation Lab
Develop commercial thinking, product design skills, and entrepreneurial frameworks that turn ideas into ventures. First access granted to current Consulting Club members.
Developer Hub
Focuses on practical software engineering skills and the technical foundations modern organisations across Africa are looking for. Launching in a subsequent phase.
Your network
crosses borders.
One of the things that makes The Alexandria Initiative different is structural. The programme runs simultaneously in multiple countries, and members are actively connected across them.
You will not just know people from your campus or your country. You will have working relationships with peers from across Anglophone, Francophone, and Lusophone Africa.
